On the radar...

I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to Sunday. Why? Let me count the ways:

• First off, Pastor Steve is launching a new series, "24::The divine drama of Jesus' final hours." Every time we begin a new series, it means a new graphic for the Web site and frankly, I was kind of freaked out by the books spewing from the guy's mouth in the last series. I love the "24" logo Jamie Brown designed. Did you see the movie last week? We're working to get it posted on the site.
• Ice Cream: Sunday night is the next Sundaes on Sunday. You have to love that. Even if there's a blizzard this weekend, come out for ice cream. It's a cool thing to do, you get to meet people you may not have time to chat with around the Worship Celebrations and Jerry Bockoven is a terrific speaker. 6-7 p.m.
• Strive for Five classes are kicking off. This is where life-change is going to happen at Horizons. Pray for everyone taking the bold step to learn more about one of our five core values.

I heard a lot of buzz Sunday about the men's rafting trip and the women's trip to Omaha for Beth Moore Live. About 40 guys are signed up (there's room for about 50 if you're interested) and around 35 women have signed up for Beth Moore.
