Vanna White and DiscoveryZone

To a fourth-grade student, Vanna White doesn't really do much on the Wheel of Fortune. Our Sunday large group lesson had Julie B. helping kids figure out clues and turning over numbered squares to reveal a letter clue underneath.

At one point, Julie remarked that this was like Wheel of Fortune and that she felt like Vanna White. Jack, one of our fourth grade students, leaned over and told me that Vanna doesn't really do anything but walk and point to the square and it lights up.

Well, I said, long ago she used to actually turn them around before they had these newer, electronic puzzle boards. Jack gave me a look of disbelief.

Just one of those funny moments that make you laugh.
